Mobile detailing brings professional vehicle care to your home or workplace. A studio provides a dedicated space where working conditions can be controlled for longer or more specialised jobs.

Both can deliver excellent results. The useful comparison is the provider’s preparation, equipment, working conditions and experience with the treatment your car needs.

When mobile detailing makes sense

Mobile is a practical choice for routine maintenance, thorough interior and exterior cleaning, pre-sale preparation and suitable polishing work. It saves the time and logistics of dropping off and collecting the car.

With Bubbles, you don’t have to remain at home throughout the appointment. We can arrange access and key return beforehand so the visit fits around your day.

What we need at your property

For a normal mobile visit, we need a safe work area, access to a garden tap and power, and space nearby to park or unload our equipment.

Ideally, water and power are within about 25 metres. If access is further away or the parking setup is unusual, tell us before booking so we can discuss the arrangement.

A driveway or approved workplace bay is often suitable. Roadside work depends on safety, access and local requirements, so it should be checked rather than assumed.

Can mobile polishing achieve a high standard?

Yes, when the environment is suitable and the detailer is prepared for it. Lighting, surface temperature, shelter and inspection all matter.

Some work benefits from a more controlled setting, particularly demanding correction, extended restoration and treatments sensitive to weather or contamination. We assess the job and location rather than accepting conditions that compromise the finish.

Ceramic coating requires suitable shelter

For our ceramic application, we require a suitable enclosed garage. This helps control exposure during preparation, application and the initial curing period.

If your property isn’t suitable, we can discuss drop-off by arrangement. The goal is to match the working space to the treatment, while keeping the process convenient for you.

What happens if the weather changes?

Light, intermittent rain may be workable for some tasks. Heavier rain, excessive heat or unsuitable conditions can require a different appointment or location.

We’ll contact you to discuss the practical options. Shade is preferred for paint work, and we keep checking conditions throughout the job.

When might a studio be the better choice?

A well-equipped studio can be useful for multi-day correction, show-car preparation and other demanding work requiring stable indoor conditions. It can also suit owners who prefer to drop the vehicle off.

Research what the studio actually offers. Ask about preparation, lighting, inspection, application conditions and evidence of similar jobs. The same questions are worthwhile when choosing a mobile detailer.

Professional care that fits your day

For many owners, mobile detailing offers the quality and convenience they’re looking for. Tell us about your car, your location and the treatment you have in mind, and we’ll confirm a suitable arrangement.
